A Day Out at Pioneer Village, Stratford

We joined up with the Chiyoda students from Sacred Heart. We had a great day out at Pioneer Village in Stratford, Taranaki to see how European settlers used to live. Lots of fun, we even got to dress up.

Farewell to the Dongguan International Students

It is with sadness that we say goodbye to the Dongguan students from China today. Here are some pictures of their farewell, of the friends they have made and students they have studied with whilst here at New Plymouth Girls' High School.

Mayoral Visit

This week, we had a trip to the Council Chambers to be welcomed by New Plymouth's mayor and shared some afternoon tea. It was a good chance to catch up with other International students too.

The new students were welcomed by Year 10 New Plymouth Girls' High School Te Reo Maori students this week. After the welcome the International students showed the others how to make origami cranes. Oh, and shared some stories and kai :)

Welcome to New International Students for Term 3

Welcome to our wonderful new International students. This term we have students from Japan and Germany. It is the first time some of them have worn a uniform, don't they look smart? We hope you have a wonderful time with us girls.
