We took 12 International students to meet the mayor of New Plymouth last week. The students even got to try on his mayoral chains!

It's that time already...to say FAREWELL to Wanda, Wako, Karolina, Flavia, Issabella, Mizuki, Amanda, Dalida and Haruka. We hope you had a fabulous time girls. We loved having you study with us. Come back and visit us again :) Bon Voyage.

Babe - a film based on The Sheep Pig by Dick King-Smith

                                                                   

The film is about Babe, a pig who wants to be like a sheep-dog.

Farmer Hogget wins the pig when he guesses its weight. Farmer Hogget is a sheep farmer and Mrs. Hogget wants to eat the pig for dinner.

Babe is sad because he has lost his mother so Ma, an old sheep, becomes like a mother to him.

Babe watches Fly gather the sheep. He is sad that Fly is rude to the sheep.

Babe talks to the sheep politely.

So they do what he says. 

Farmer Hogget takes him to the sheep trials in place of Fly.

The people watching laugh at Babe and everyone is surprised when Babe puts the sheep in to the pen and gets 100 points from all the judges and wins the competition. 

We liked the film because Babe is cute and very intelligent.

This week we had four new students arrive and complete their orientation with us. They are starting classes next week. Welcome to students from Venezuela, Chile, Japan and China. Valeria, Paola, Miu and Shitong.

Otsuma Farewell

We had a wonderful farewell yesterday for the Otsuma visitors from Tokyo, Japan. You spoke so well girls and we hope you had a fabulous time. Thank you to their buddies for making their time here so enjoyable.

Hey hey it's swimming sports day!

Multi Ethic Extravaganza

It was a hot day, but fun was had by all. Lots of different flags and costumes and of course the food at the racecourse was yummy and the dances were great. Oh, the students looked fabulous during the parade too.
