Farewell

 We said farewell to Emily at the end of Term Three. She is going back to Japan to study at University. We wish her all the best for her future. Emily will be sadly missed by staff and students alike.

 

Whale Rider Film Review

*This is a movie about mystery and adventure.

*There is a concern that a Maori girl could not get her grandfather's approval. This girl proved that she was finally approved by everyone.

*I think this movie wants to tell everyone that women can do well without being sexist.

*I understandable the movie, because this movie is very exciting and has a clear idea.

*I like the images / scenes because the photos look good.

*I like this film because the girl in this movie bravely pursues what she likes.

*My favourite character is Paikea because she is brave and smart.

*My conclusion is the movie is very interesting and very good.
