Matilda

The book Matilda is by Roald Dahl. This is a fantasy and adventure book. It is about a very clever girl called Matilda, she found out  that she has special powers in her eyes, she can lift things up and move things with her pure mind power, this is due to too much intelligence and nowhere to spend it as her greedy parents Mrs Wormwood and Mr Wormwood believed that she is stupid and they forgot to send her to school! Mr Wormwood is greedy, he steals cars and sells them for money, Mrs Wormwood is false and disgusting, she thinks beauty is the most important thing in the world.

When Matilda finally went to school, the school principal Mrs Trunchbull was violent and mean, she hated children and often bullied them,. Matilda made friends with Mrs Honey who was nice, friendly and a respectable teacher, she gave good advice and understood Matilda's feelings.

The theme of the book is about children, their famlies, justice, revenge and power. The message that the author tried to give us was bullies can back-fire sometimes and don't do mean things because you don't know who is watching and everything bad you do will come back to you.

A book named Matilda

"Matilda" is an interesting book. It talks about a girl's life. The girl is named Matilda, she is very clever, when she was 4 years old, she could do maths without calculation and her eyes had power.

Matilda's parents are Mr Wormwood and Mrs Wormwood. Mr Wormwood is very greedy, he thinks Matilda is a "stupid girl". Mrs Wormwood likes to colour her nails or have a perm, she thinks she is very beautiful. They have a factory to sell cars. Miss Honey is the best teacher in the world, she is caring. Miss Trunchbull is evil, she throws children and locked Matilda in the chokey.

The message is: don't be a bully, being dishonest is lying to yourself and if you do mean things you'll be punished.

Matilda by Roald Dahl

Matilda is a fantasy book. This book is about a girl named Matilda, who takes revenge from bad people. This book has a lot of themes but I'll just name some of them, mystery and revenge. This book has a message and the message is that we should live happily, love each other and not be greedy or careless.
In my opinion, this book was a bit easy to read and understand because the words in this book were really easy and I already knew them. I really liked the pictures because it helped me to know what exactly was happening in the story. I really enjoyed this book because it was really interesting, that how a girl is really clever to handle things easily. The only character that I really liked the best is Matilda because she inspired me.
On the whole, I would say that Matilda is about a clever little girl, who helps Ms Honey and goes against bad people like Ms Trunchbull.
